Rockabillys Comeback Comes Up Short

The Rockabillys comeback falls short in a 10-9 loss on the road against Thrillville. The Rockabillys trailed 8-0 at one point in the contest, but unfortunately cannot finish the job.

The pitching relied heavily upon the bullpen as Joaquin Baranchuk was unable to make it more than 1 inning in the contest. The pitching struggled except for Max Shultz and Elias Hachem who pitched 4.0 perfect innings combined while having 4 and 3 strikeouts respectively.

The hitting exploded in the 4th and 7th innings where the Goats put up 4 runs in each of these innings. Peyton Woods led the way with a home run that scored three runs to go along with his 4 hit 5 RBI outing. Garner Anderson also hit extremely well with a double and a couple singles in the loss.

The Rockabillys will take on the Catfish tomorrow as they continue their playoff aspirations tied with O' Fallon for the second half playoff spot in the south. It's fan appreciation night at the stadium where the first 500 adult fans will head home with a Space Jam T-Shirt and the first 500 kids will get free ice cream. Come hang out and watch the final week of action at Rockabilly Stadium starting at 6:00 tomorrow for the makeup of Space Jam night.
