The Rockabillys Push Ahead in Playoff Picture After Road Win

The Rockabillys take care of business on the road against Thrillville, as they win their 4th straight game. On top of the Jackson win, the O'Fallon Hoots fell to Quincy 9-6 to propel the Goats to a now 0.5 game lead in the playoff race between the two squads. 

Jackson was led by the pitching squad once again as All-Star Cole Cates showed hit stuff. 7.0 Inning pitched while allowing 0 runs on 3 hits put the Rockabillys in a great position to pick up the win on his watch as Jaxon Valdez came in to secure the final 6 outs.

The offense had another strong affair as all 9 position players made it on base for now the second straight game. Other highlights include Bryce Thompson slashing for 2 hits including his first extra base hit of his campaign in Jackson. Hayden Mosley knocked in 3 RBIs to lead the team as the Rockabillys put up double digits yet again in the victory.

The Rockabillys continue their time in Marion with an early game tomorrow beginning at 2 pm. The Goats look to finish out the season series against Thrillville before heading back home for the off day.
