The Rockabillys fall on the road to Danville in an exciting game decided by just 1 run. The 8-7 contest was anyone's game going into the 9th inning but the Dans held on to secure the victory.
Jackson needed a win tonight to pair with a Cape Catfish loss to keep the playoff hopes alive for the first half. The opposite happened as Cape took down Decatur 7-1.
The Rockabillys were led tonight by Zavier Hatfield as well as Bryce Messer who both had clutch base knocks to give the Goats a chance.
Jackson will wrap up the first half tonight as they face off against the Dans to try and even out the series.
