Jackson Rockabillys
Alton River Dragons
The Rockabillys finish the first half sweep over the Alton River Dragons after last night's 4-2 victory.
The Goats did not play their traditional brand of small ball as they posted the first multi home run game of the year. Kenskey Thomas' first hit as a Rockabilly cleared the wall for a solo home run followed by Ayden Makarus getting his first long fly in the 8th inning to make it a 4-0 ball game.
The defense held a shut out until the 9th inning led by Cole Cates and Keith Wallace to put Jackson in a great position to secure the victory.
On top of the win, the Rockabillys first half playoff hopes stay alive as the Hoots took the win over the Catfish, who are 1 win away from clinching the first half in the South.
Jackson continues the road trip in Illinois as they travel to historic Danville Stadium for the final two games of the first half.
