The Goats are unsatisfied with their trip to Missouri as they drop both games of the double header last night. The two games could not have been any more different as the first game was an offensive affair with Jackson being mercy ruled for the first time this season by a score of 16-5. The second game was crickets from both teams until the walk off base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Hoots to win the contest 1-0.
The highlight of the contests was Karson Lindsey, who bouncing back from his rocky start last outing, threw 5 innings and allowed 0 runs on 5 hits to keep the Goats in the game until the end. Offensively Jackson had only 12 hits on the night, 10 of which coming in the first game. Kyle Neri and Brock Donnelly led the offense in game one but it was not enough to come away with a victory.
The Rockabillys are back at home tonight as they will face off against the Thrillbillies at 7 pm to start the weekend series. Come join the Rockabillys in celebrating America's 250th anniversary and come grab a free T-Shirt thanks to the DAR.
