Offense and Defense Work together for the Rockabillys Largest Win of the Year

Offense and Defense Work together for the Rockabillys Largest Win of the Year

The Goats catch fire in Marion as they take down the Thrillbillies 14-1.

There is a new leader in the Prospect League. After their sixth consecutive win, the Jackson Rockabillys now sit atop the standings alone. This is the first, and hopefully not last, time this year that Jackson has led the league. The Rockabillys on their second road trip stay perfect on the road as they advance to 2-0 on the road and 7-1 overall.

Tate Hickman started the game last night, making it 4.0 innings, allowing for 1 run that came in the first inning. Hickman gained his first win of the year with his performance. The Rockabillys are 2-0 in Hickman's starts, both wins being by the mercy rule.

Jackson's offense was an all-around affair with 14 batters coming to the plate and 4 multi-hit nights. Nick Tobin led the team with 3 hits and 4 RBIs to finish the job for the Rockabillys.

The Rockabillys play in Marion again tonight as they play the Thrillbillies yet again. The game will begin at 7 pm, and the Goats are looking for the two-game sweep over Thrillville.
