Goats Clear Out the Broom Closet in First Conference Series
The Rockabillys ease by Alton in game four of the series, winning by the mercy rule 12-2 in 7 innings.
The Jackson bats took advantage of mistakes last night as they racked up 12 runs while staying in the single digits in the hit column, only having 7. The River Dragons' pitching staff combined for 7 walks, and the Goats took care of the rest as multiple players had multi-RBI games, including Anane Wilson, who had a triple on top of his 3-for-4 night.
The "Goat Pen" was also exceptional, coming into the bottom of the second inning and not allowing a run under their watch. Elias Hachem, Tag Dillard, and Jackson's very own Max Richardson finished the job from there.
The Rockabillys have today off to sleep in and pack for the road trip. They play next tomorrow against the Cape Catfish in their home pond. The game will start at 6:35 CDT and will be broadcast on Prospect League Network.
