Jackson Handles O'Fallon in 4-1 Win

O'FALLON, Mo.- The Rockabillys continued their winning streak Thursday night with a road win versus O'Fallon.

The Hoots couldn't find any offense against the four pitchers that represented Jackson. A group that included Matthew RileyJackson CampbellBrody Casteel, and Jaxson Lucas held off the feisty O'Fallon offense, and also managed to punch out 15 batters. Notably, Campbell was responsible for a third of those K's over his two innings of work.

Offense was similarly hard to come by for the Goats, but they were clutch in their given opportunities. For example, Parks Bouck plated a pair on a single into center with two outs in the third, and he was even able to move over an extra 90 feet thanks to a fielding error from Hoots centerfielder Michael Callahan.

Jack Runsick scored on a wild pitch in the fifth, and the eighth brought in the fourth and final run for Jackson on a Adriel Vega RBI single, which was aided by a Cade Miles single earlier in the frame.

One run scored for O'Fallon against Casteel, but the game was too far out of reach at that point. The Hoots' hopes were dashed in the ninth by the save savvy closer Lucas, and yet another victory was secured.

Rockin' and Rollin'

This six game win streak for the Rockabillys ties a single season franchise record, which was set in 2024 at the beginning of July. Similarly, this six game stretch has seen the Rockabillys allow just 2.6 runs per game, and score a little over seven.

Goats Notes: The Goats return to action tonight against the Alton River Dragons in Alton, Ill. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. CDT.
