Rockabillys Score 2 Touchdowns En Route to their 7th Straight

The Jackson Rockabillys finished their trip to Marion, Illinois with a bang last night as they put up double digits yet again to win both games of the series by the mercy rule. The Thrillbillies pitching staff struggled as they allowed the Goats to walk 14 times. The defense was of no help either as they had 9 errors as a collective, which ties the all time Prospect League record.

The Rockabillys were led by Kaden Crawford who threw 1 hit baseball through his 4 innings. He was given the win on his line as he only allowed 4 base runners. The "Goat Pen" finished the job, but were not nearly as dominant as it has been seen in recent contests allowing for 3 earned runs in 3 innings pitched.

The bats were led by Nick Tobin yet again. Going 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs which brings him to 11 on the season which places him 6th in all players. Tobin is also 2nd in the league in batting average slashing an eye popping .474 after last nights contest.

The Rockabillys continue their road trip in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where they will take on the Catfish for a two game series tonight and tomorrow as they look to continue their winning streak, which is the longest in the league thus far.
